Each Covered Bed system supports up to 2,000 lbs. on top, assuming even distribution. This makes hauling large gear for hunting, recreation, or commercial use possible without compromising the security and organization of smaller tools stored inside the drawers.
All Covered Bed Designs default to TruckVault’s proprietary TacLock™. The system uses a high-security, 8-button combination lock with Strike Guard® technology. The all-mechanical, ergonomic design has over 1,500 possible combinations. We also offer a Kaba Simplex combination lock, black t-handle lock and a silver slam latch option.
Yes! Customization is our middle name. Along with dividers and custom drawer faces, we can also adjust the overall height and depth of the unit to accommodate your gear and any fuel tanks or permanent structures installed in the truck bed.
No, the system requires a bracket to secure it in the middle of the truck bed. This may compromise or shatter the truck bed. We recommend using a 2-drawer system that uses manufacturer-designed attachment points to secure the system instead.
Yes, the system can be removed and transferred, but reinstallation will require mounting brackets to the new vehicle. Keep in mind the wings that fit around the wheel well may not fit in the new vehicle. Contact our team to verify compatibility and if you need a conversion kit to complete the reinstallation.

Two shallow drawers are mounted next to one extra deep drawer to provide a range of storage capacity and organization. All Covered Bed Line units are designed for pick-ups with toppers and feature heavy-duty locks with Strike Guard® technology, full-length drawers, and a divider package that helps you organize your stored items efficiently. A top load capacity of 2,000 lbs. will ensure you will arrive safely with your cargo intact.

ST4 Surveyor CB
Built with the commercial customer in mind, the Surveyor series combined a set of Standard or Magnum height drawers mounted on top of a series of cubbies. This allows for the storage of long equipment in an easy to access exposed space, along with secure storage above. Additionally, our locks feature Strike Guard® technology to further secure whatever’s stored inside the drawer.
